Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Orina Travel (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered in Sri Lanka ("Orina Travel", "we", "us").

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and customers of our website located at orinatravels.com and any associated mobile applications or services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

To make a booking on Orina Travel, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false information.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Orina Travel. A booking is only confirmed when you receive a written confirmation email with a booking reference number.

Payment terms:

• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure most bookings.
• The remaining 70% is due 7 days before the departure date.
• Bookings made within 7 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion rates are indicative.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before confirmation.

Orina Travel uses secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Key points:

• Cancellations 7+ days before departure: full refund minus 5% processing fee.
• Cancellations 3–6 days before departure: 50% refund.
• Cancellations within 48 hours: non-refundable.
• No-shows are non-refundable.

In the event Orina Travel cancels a booking due to force majeure or operational reasons, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.

As a traveller, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring you hold a valid passport and any required visas for Sri Lanka.
• Arriving at the designated meeting point at the specified time.
• Following the instructions of your guide and driver for safety purposes.
• Behaving respectfully at cultural and religious sites.
• Disclosing any medical conditions or mobility requirements that may affect your participation.
• Ensuring you have adequate travel insurance for the duration of your trip.

Orina Travel reserves the right to exclude any traveller from a tour without refund if their behaviour endangers others or violates local laws or site regulations.

Orina Travel acts as a tour operator and coordinator. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction, we are not liable for:

• Personal injury, illness, or death arising from participation in tours or activities.
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
• Delays or disruptions caused by weather, road conditions, strikes, or other factors beyond our control.
• Acts or omissions of third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, etc.) used in connection with your tour.

Our total liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

You agree not to:

• Use our platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Provide false information when creating an account or making a booking.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content.
• Resell or transfer bookings without our prior written consent.
• Use our content, images, or branding without written permission.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action where appropriate.

All content on the Orina Travel platform — including text, images, logos, icons, itineraries, and design — is the intellectual property of Orina Travel (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without express written permission. Sharing links to our pages is permitted.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as airline booking sites, attraction ticketing platforms, or map services). These links are provided for convenience only. Orina Travel is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site.

Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk. We encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies before providing any personal information.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues informally before initiating legal proceedings. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through our support team.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Orina Travel regarding your use of our platform and services.
